About Project Sampad

Project Sampada is a structured agri-processing initiative promoted by Jai Jawan Jai Kisan Agriculture Society (JJJKAS) with the objective of creating replicable, quality-driven processing clusters for high-volume agricultural produce in Bihar.

The project has been conceived as a long-term institutional effort—not a short-term commercial venture—to strengthen farm-linked value chains, reduce post-harvest losses, and enable disciplined agri-entrepreneurship in the state.

The Context

Bihar is one of India’s leading producers of fruits and vegetables, yet a large proportion of its produce is sold in raw form, resulting in:
Project Sampada addresses this gap by establishing cluster-based processing ecosystems that combine infrastructure, skills, quality systems, and market linkages.

The Jjjkas Approach

Project Sampada follows a phased, conservative, and validation-first approach. Rather than immediately creating multiple independent units, the project begins with an operator-led cluster model, where in:
This approach ensures operational stability, quality assurance, and risk mitigation during the formative stages.

Step Phase – Building The Foundation

The current focus of Project Sampada is its STEP Phase (Structured Transition for Export-ready Processing).

This phase is designed to:

The STEP Phase focuses initially on tomato and banana processing, two crops with strong production bases and processing demand in Bihar.

Cluster-based Development

Project Sampada is anchored in industrial cluster development, beginning with BIADA industrial areas (starting with BIADA Bihta, subject to approvals and allotments).

The cluster approach enables:

Over time, successful operators may graduate to establish independent units within the cluster ecosystem.

Values-aligned Collaboration

Project Sampada is guided by the belief that economic development must be value-based and inclusive. The initiative draws inspiration from the ethos of The Art of Living (AOL) ecosystem—particularly its emphasis on:
JJJKAS intends to nurture a long-term, values-aligned collaboration with AOL as the project demonstrates operational traction and maturity.

Funding & Governance Philosophy

Project Sampada follows a responsible funding philosophy:
Governance is structured to ensure credibility, accountability, and long-term sustainability.

The Promoting Organization – Jjjkas

Jai Jawan Jai Kisan Agriculture Society (JJJKAS) is a not-for-profit organization working at the intersection of:
JJJKAS acts as the institutional backbone of Project Sampada—providing governance, operational oversight, and continuity beyond individual units or locations.

Our Long-term Vision

Project Sampada envisions:
Growth will be steady, disciplined, and evidence-led.
